Susie, I'm gonna have to disagree with you here - I thought it was sheer comedic brilliance! Yeah, there were a few things a bit vulgar for my taste, but if anyone can get away with it, it's Tenacious D. And I was glad they didn't use the hits like Wonderboy and Tribute even though they could have fit well - why should they fall back on material that's nearly 4 years old now? I thought the songs were hysterical and well-done, in classic D style...I've been laughing about it since I saw it on Wednesday!
(but good job on the review; it's well done even if I don't agree :))
I did enjoy the new songs...but how could they NOT play Tribute at that end scene? You didn't feel cheated? I don't have a prob with the vulgar stuff so much, but seriously, the weed jokes got old for me after a bit... Thanks for reading my review :)
